SponsorBridge is an opt-in experiment for a privacy-first revenue-sharing layer during ChatGPT response generation. It is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI.
After opt-in, we process a random pseudonymous device identifier, the supported host category, session focus and page visibility booleans, and limited delivery/viewability accounting fields when an eligible sponsored card exists.
We do not collect prompts, responses, conversation text, chat history, cookies, account identity, personal communications, or browsing history.
New external production devices receive NO_AD when no eligible paid demand is connected. Internal self-tests may still receive a clearly marked NON_BILLABLE house card. Verified revenue is currently $0 and only verified collected revenue can become shareable.
Pseudonymous event records are retained only for security, auditing, and accounting. A deletion request must include the random SponsorBridge device ID shown by the extension. No ChatGPT account identifier is available to us.
